In this project, the artist expresses himself with a new pseudonym—Finale Otto. This extensive series is communicated with a visceral sense of aesthetic while creating a visual system and language to establish a narrative among the pieces. The visual language consists of finely crafted images that were collected throughout the years from various sources of books and magazines, from different years, with diverse color and paper qualities. The artist kept in mind that in order to create a cohesive visual language, the craftsmanship had to be done in a similar way (rounded and organic cutting patterns—which best gives a sense of transformation to the images), along with a consistent style of imagery and theme that could best translate his message. Bridges, is a representation of the different parts and characteristics of the human condition—such as the body and the mind, intending to unify and contrast ideas in a way that intrigues and questions the viewer.
